Well ok then.
I guess the off season has kind of started already.
I knew that Paille likely wasn’t going to be resigned, but Campbell? I’m kinda surprised here. The Merlot Line from the Stanley Cup days is gone forever. No more Thornton, Campbell, and Paille. I’m curious to which teams will pick them up. I hope they both have more chances to score more goals with their upcoming teams. Campbell and Paille were going to be UFAs on July 1st, as both of their contracts are done at the end of this season. Gregory Campbell signed a contract stating in the 2012 season, it was for 3 years and $4.8 million. Daniel Paille signed a 3 year, $3.9 million contract, also in the 2012 season.
With this announcement from the Bruins so early makes me kind of scared for what lies ahead. There is still tons of pending RFAs and UFAs needing to be signed.
UFAS: Adam McQuaid, Matt Bartkowski, Carl Soderberg, and Bobby Robins
RFAS: Dougie Hamilton, Brett Connolly, Niklas Svedberg, Matt Lindblad, David Warsofsky, Ryan Spooner
I know that the Bruins will resign Spooner and Hamilton, but the rest we will have to see.
see you all in october!
