Bruins Game Preview: Boston Bruins vs Calgary Flames

There hasn’t been a Bruins game since before the Trade Deadline, that game was on March 1st, a 4-1 win versus the Arizona Coyotes. This game is a must win, because of the fact that the Florida Panthers are 2 points behind us in the Eastern conference standings. This is the second meeting this season between these two teams, with the last one being a 4-3 overtime loss in Calgary on February 16th. Since this is the first game back since the trade deadline, we are anticipating the Bruins debut of Forward Max Talbot, who we acquired from the Colorado Avalanche on trade deadline day. The Bruins are on a 2 game win streak. It’s also nice to point out the Calgary Captain Mark Giordano is out for the rest of the season with a Bicep injury. He is the Calgary team leader in assists. Johnny Gaudreau will also be making his return to Boston, as he played for Boston College before he started his NHL career.
